Being a dancer performing in different countries around the globe, Tanja grew into the role of yoga teacher when arriving in Paris 17 years ago. She started practicing yoga at Hélène Fournier’s studio, where she did her YTT. In 2020 Tanja practiced and studied Hatha Yoga intensively during a 5 month long lockdown in Bali, Indonesia. Books and writings of B.K.S Iyengar, that found her in Bali by purposeful coincidence, became her source of inspiration. She practices and studies meditation and holistic approach, as to her, the mind and body act as one. This is also something you would find back in her classes, where she strives for mind-body connection and encourages students to go outside of their comfort zone.
